Miguel’s cooks their tortilla chips in neutral-flavored canola and sunflower oils which do not overpower the subtle flavor of its organically grown, fine ground corn flour.
To further protect and ensure the authentic, toasted taste, Miguel’s takes the extra step of packing its tortilla chips in a specially developed, foil-lined bag which blocks light and creates a moisture barrier to keep the chips crunchy while warding off oxidation which can cause the product to spoil.
